Wow; what an event. We packed out the TSB Space at Tūranga; with standing room only at the back. Five great speakers on Friday, 20 September, kicked off the week of climate action, ably chaired by the Hon Margaret Austin. It was a great opportunity to hear from people who are really making a difference in our community in the climate space — in food resilience, transport, bridging the urban rural divide, people power, and saving our water. If you could make it, thanks for coming along and showing your support.
Below is the full video. If you’d like to hone in on individual speakers, follow the links to get to their parts. For speaker bios, please refer to the event announcement:
- Peter Wells: food resilience and climate
- Glen Herud: agriculture and climate
- Lucy Gray: people power and climate
- Axel Wilke: transport and climate
- Sam Mahon: water and climate
Come and support our children this coming Friday, 27 September, when the week of climate action culminates in the school strike 4 climate (SS4C).
